LAB PROCEDURES
The PC and Mac labs are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, and need to be treated with respect. These labs require more care and attention to your surroundings than a typical classroom. We do require that students follow certain procedures to make sure that we keep our equipment running at peak performance.

All students are responsible for their workstation areas. The general rule is to leave their area in perfectly clean condition, with mice, keyboards and monitors exactly where they belong, trash and clutter free, even if it was not in this condition when they arrived.
RULES:

  • Enter quietly. Wait for instruction before logging in.
  • Only visit approved web sites.
  • Do not download or install anything without permission.
  • Keep your work area clean and neat.
  • Always ask permission to print.
  • No food or drink in the lab at any time.
  • Treat classmates and their work areas with respect.
  • Log off, straighten area, and push in chair when leaving.
