Woodland’s campus includes a state-of-the-art computer learning center, modern science lab, 10,000 volume library, full-sized gymnasium, expanded art room, food service facilities and a music center. We also offer extended day care, an in-school lunch program and transportation services through our extensive bus system.

Through group projects, leadership positions and service activities, Woodland students learn respect for others and social responsibility. Close relationships between students and faculty foster self-confidence and moral development.

Preschool

Woodland offers a flexible program for three and four year-olds which prepares them for kindergarten. Our young students learn letters and numbers and practice social skills like cooperation and sharing.

Lower School

Encompassing a full-day kindergarten program and first through fourth grades, the lower school offers a traditional academic experience emphasizing Mathematics and Language Arts. Each day, students also participate in co-curricular courses such as French, Spanish, Computer Literacy, Physical Education, Art, Library, Science Lab and Music.

Upper School

In the fifth through eighth grades, teachers continue with the strong emphasis in a fully departmentalized program and prepare students for success in high school. Upper school students enjoy more freedom, yet are expected to take more responsibility for their learning.

A Strong Foundation For The Future

Woodland graduates experience academic success in high school and continue to realize the benefits of their Woodland education throughout their lives.
