A Woodland education represents an investment in your child’s future. To make it possible for qualified students to attend Woodland Country Day School and to assure diversity among its student body, we attempt to provide families with assistance in funding their child’s education. Woodland Country Day School provides several payment plan options and a financial aid program.
Payment Options
Tuition is normally billed in two installments following an initial 10% deposit with the enrollment agreement. The first installment for 60% of the tuition is due August 1st; the remaining 30% by January 1st.
Woodland also offers a budget payment plan throughTuition Management Systems. The plan allows you to pay tuition, transportation and fees in ten monthly payments beginning in June of the year your child enters school. The plan costs $55.00 and there are no other fees or interest charges.
Financial Aid
Financial aid from Woodland consists of a grant which is determined by the financial needs of the family. Because the present resources of the school are limited, grants will be made for no more than 50% of tuition for each child except in those unique instances that warrant aid in excess of 50% tuition. Financial aid grants are renewed annually based on the continuing needs of the family. Students who receive financial aid must remain in good academic standing and demonstrate good citizenship. All financial aid grants are determined by the Financial Aid Committee of the Board of Trustees.
How To Apply For Financial Aid
Families seeking financial aid should let the school know as soon as possible. In order for the school to distribute grants equally, all families must complete the information requested by FAST, our independent financial aid processor, on a yearly basis. It is strongly suggested that parents begin the application process for financial aid in early winter. The grants are awarded in the spring for the following academic year. All financial records, requests and awards are kept in the strictest confidence by FAST and the Financial Aid Committee of Woodland Country Day School.
